Christine Grotjohn, Speaker
Ms. Grotjohn is a speaker whose goal is to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle that inspires and educates others on the transformational power of diet, exercise and positive thinking. She trains hundreds of corporate executives on the role of resiliency for increased productivity, health and performance.
Christine nurtures a lifelong passion for promoting overall wellbeing so that people may excel in their personal and professional lives. Over the past 13 years, she has been a gymnastics and swimming coach as well as an outdoor group fitness trainer in South Korea for expatriate employees. She has also worked with groups using cognitive behavioral therapy to help change negative thoughts and behaviors into positive emotional and physical outcomes.
Christine holds a degree in Psychology Honors and a minor in English from Gustavus Adolphus College. Recognizing the demand and high expectations for students to succeed, Christine designed and launched a wellness program on her college campus to promote resiliency during times of stress. As an alumni, she is an active member of the Wellbeing National Advisory Board. She has demonstrated consistent professional excellence as a Health Care Consultant and Program Manager in the Talent Development field. Working with teams and leaders across the enterprise to increase overall employee engagement and productivity, she has an energetic and professional executive presence.
Ms. Grotjohn has triple certifications from NASM as a certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Behavior Change Specialist. When Christine is not working, she is outdoors swimming, biking, running or hiking. Most recently, she was selected as a semi-finalist in an international Spokesmodel Search for Bodybuilding.com and has competed in women’s figure competitions domestically and internationally, qualifying for the national level.
